We stayed at MainStay Suites by Choice Hotels for 2 nights. July 16 and 17. $107.99 a night. $244.64 total after taxes. The staff went above and beyond to help us out. We had a bad experience at another hotel and came here. They let us check in at 9 am after hearing about our experience so that we wouldn't have to haul our stuff around until check in later that day. They placed us in a room beside my sister whom was already staying there. We were on the 2nd floor. The elevator is a little slow, but we really only needed to take it when we used the stroller or had to haul our stuff up and down. We took the stairs most of the time. They do need more buggies to haul stuff up and down on. Finding one is really hard. I think that most of the people took them in their room and keep them there til they need them. The suites were really nice. The carpets were clean, no dirty socks. The room in general were really well kept. Everything very tidy, dusted, clean, in its place. Honestly I didn't see a speck of dirt anywhere. They had a light touch service and I thought that was great. The housekeeping only comes in on the 4th day that you are there unless you call and request the light touch service. Great for privacy if you need it. Our room had a small kitchen with everything you could possibly need, 2 queen beds, couch/bed, a nice big bath/shower, and a balcony. There was a sign on the back of the commode saying if you forgot any essential toiletry item to just as the front desk and they would be glad you help you out. More than most places offer. They have a pool, hot tub, lazy river outside and also a pool/hot tub inside. The outside pool is open til 11 pm and the inside until 12. All the pools/hot tubs were clean and working great. Not overly crowded and a nice size. The hotel also has a small gym with a treadmill, stair stepper, etc. Great for people who like to work out everyday. A computer with Internet is available in the lobby downstairs. I believe the rooms had Internet as well if you have a laptop. The breakfast was nice. They offer alot more than most places. Gravy, Sausage, Biscuits, Hard Boiled Eggs, Waffles, Syrup, Cereal, Juice, Milk, Coffee, Oatmeal, Grits, etc. Saves a ton of $$ for large families. We had a great experience here, and will return. We would also recommend it to friends/family.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and the staff went above and beyond to help.

Cons: The lack of buggies and slow elevator.
